This is a TEST run for an effect we’ll be using in our video 2 project. My goal was to test out every feature of a scene we’ll need to do in after effects before we go out to film, so this is a proof of concept video.

Special thanks to Mike Cannon for helping!

Just some misc stuff, fun though. First two I consider really nice and the last one is just for fun, they are separated as such in the art section properly.

This is an adaptation of the story After Dark My Sweet by Jim Thompson done as a class project with a great number of people who are all listed appropriately in the ending credits.

Our class was split into two groups to pick a short story to adapt to during production, and then during post production we were split again into four subgroups. So in the end there were four videos based off of two different stories, this is from my group and my specific subgroup.

My subgroup consisted of:
Alex Ewing – http://www.youtube.com/user/AlexEwing
Mike Cannon – http://www.youtube.com/user/Hylias
Seth Maule – http://www.facebook.com/seth.maule?re…
And myself as the Cinematographer and Assistant Editor/Effects Creator.

Thanks to everyone who helped make this film possible!

This was a group class project with a huge time constraint of only having a week and a half and under an hour to actually do the shoot. The other obvious restriction is that we could not use any sound, we also couldn’t move the camera at all, could only use 8-10 shots, and it had to be around 3-5 minutes in length.

Group consisted of
Brandon Cole
Giancarlo Lodevico – http://www.youtube.com/user/GCXtremeB…
John Hollidge
and myself, Joseph Wroten.

for the class of Video 2 at AACC with Jenny Sheppard.

A carefully constructed map based around having gravity be your enemy, using basic platforming to protect the flag and offer strategy to the game. Enjoy!

A tourist attraction based in space at the end of Earth’s sky elevator, SkysTheLimit in this fight for power as both teams have to carefully navigate accross the fierce open battlefield, break through the enemies base, working their way down to the solar panels where the flags are kept. Getting there is the easy part, getting back is where the fun begins.

A small chaotic deathmatch arena fun for players of all experience levels. Map features a one-way-in one-way-out acid pit at the bottom which has a UDamage spawn, a great objective which creates a unique choke point.

Through abstracted audio and video of many distributions and mediums of art this video explores what art itself is and can be in definition and concept.

Throughout history peoples views of art has been changing, yet never has everyone had a true understanding of art itself. This video offers my open ended interpretation of this matter.
